Fruit Water

In the summer heat, there’s nothing more refreshing than an ice cold beverage. However, many people avoid drinking plain water and opt for sugary beverages instead. The solution? Create your own all-natural, easy-to-make infused water and teas. These blissful concoctions will provide the flavor you’re craving without the added sugar and chemicals found in many bottled beverages.

A healthy, easy way to get more flavor (and added nutrients!) out of water is to simply drop fruit/vegetables/herbs right into a glass or pitcher water. My favorites are cucumber, mint, or citrus fruits like orange or lemon. Mix and match to find your favorite flavor combo!

You can also make an iced tea infusion. Brew your favorite tea, let cool, add fruit or herbs, and serve over ice. Or for an added kick, use sparkling water in place of still water.

Try these water infusions to help beat the heat and stay hydrated, healthy, and feeling good all summer long!
